Updated 14 October 2026

Aybuke's collage maker turns a handful of photos into one picture, or into a carousel that swipes as one. It's one of Aybuke's free on-device tools, so it never uses credits.
How to make a collage
Pick your photos
Tap Collage on Explore, or Make a collage in the Edit tab, and choose 2 to 9 photos. They go in the order you pick them.
Choose a layout
Try Grid, Mosaic, Film strip, Instant, Scrapbook or Moodboard. Tap the same layout again for another arrangement, or tap Surprise me.
Choose a size
Pick 4:5 for feed posts, 1:1 for a square, 9:16 for Stories or 3:4, or choose Carousel and 2 to 5 slides.
Make it yours
Drag a photo to move it and pinch to zoom. Hold one, then tap another, to swap them. Under Style, pick a background and set the spacing and corners.
Save or share
Turn on Date & caption if you like, then save to Photos, share, or open the collage in the editor for text, stickers or an effect.
Six layouts for every photo dump
| Layout | What it looks like | Try it for |
|---|---|---|
| Grid | Even rows or columns, the classic photo dump | A weekend recap |
| Mosaic | Your first photo big, with the rest beside it or around it | One favorite plus the details |
| Film strip | Frames on dark film strips with sprocket holes | Trips, concerts and nights out |
| Instant | Instant prints scattered with a tilt, or hung from ribbons like a garland | Bestie pics |
| Scrapbook | White-bordered prints with washi tape and stickers, scattered or in tidy rows | Birthdays and memories |
| Moodboard | A tight board with a color card picked from your photos, optionally led by one big photo | Outfits, rooms and aesthetics |
Make a seamless Instagram carousel
A seamless carousel is one wide picture cut into slides, so a photo can run from one slide into the next. Choose Carousel under Size and pick 2 to 5 slides: Aybuke lays your photos across one wide canvas, then cuts it into 4:5 portrait slides.
- Saved in order. The slides go to Photos one after another, so they show up in sequence when you pick them for your post.
- Plenty of detail. Each slide is 2160 × 2700 pixels, twice the common 1080 × 1350 size for portrait posts.
- Date and caption up front. If you add them, they sit on the first slide.
Backgrounds, spacing and a date line
Under Style, put your photos on blush, petal, paper or ink, on one of six gradients from bubblegum to night, or on a soft blur of your first photo. Sliders set the spacing and how round the corners are: no gaps for a tight grid, wide ones for a scrapbook feel.
Under Text, Date & caption adds a typewriter line under your photos with today's date and up to 40 characters of your own, like “summer dump”. For more words, stickers or doodles, open the collage in the editor and use Text & Stickers.
Tips for a photo dump that flows
- Lead with a favorite. Mosaic and Moodboard can give your first photo the most room, so pick it first.
- Mix close and wide. A face, a plate, a sky, a crowd: different distances keep the eye moving.
- Keep a color story. Photos that share a tone look calm together, and the Moodboard color card shows yours.
- Add a vibe. Open the collage in the editor and try a free retro effect like Disposable '98. For the 90s instant-film feel on a single photo, the Bestie Polaroid look does it with AI for 1 credit.
Free, private and yours
Collages are made on your device: no upload, no account, no credits and no watermark. Each one is saved to Photos, with a copy in My Works, your private gallery in the app. A collage of your own photos carries no AI label; if a photo in it was made or edited with AI, the collage keeps the invisible “made with AI” label too.
On a Mac, drop photo files straight onto the collage. Or ask Siri: “Make a collage in Aybuke”.
Made a strip in the booth? Add your Retro Booth print to a photo dump with the rest of the night's photos. Group photo with someone who'd rather not be posted? Hide their face first.
