Glow Cam is the Glow tab in Aybuke's Retro Cam: five live looks, a quick brightness and contrast, drifting sparkle and an optional sheer lip and blush tint, right in the viewfinder. It flatters with light and color only. Nothing smooths your skin or reshapes your face.

Glow Cam is a glow camera that never retouches. Its looks are soft light and color grades, the kind a ring light, a sunset or a roll of film gives you. You see the look live before you shoot, and the photo you save gets exactly the same look at full size, made on your device.
How to take a glow photo
Open Retro Cam
Tap Retro Cam on Explore or in the Edit tab, or open it from Siri, Control Center or the Action button.
Switch to Glow
Tap Glow above the strip of looks. Retro keeps the 80s, 90s and Y2K effects.
Pick a look
Natural keeps your own light and color; Dreamy, Golden, Analog and Moody each set a mood.
Make it yours
Adjust brightness and contrast, turn on Sparkle, or open Makeup for a sheer lip color or a blush.
Shoot or start a booth
Take a photo, or switch to Booth for four shots with a 3-2-1 countdown. Every shot gets the same glow.

They're the same vibes as Adjust in the editor, so a Glow photo looks just like that vibe picked later. Brightness and contrast in the camera are quick nudges, half the editor's range.
Sparkle and a sheer tint
Sparkle sends soft glints of light drifting through the picture and keeps them clear of the middle of the frame.
The makeup tint is off until you pick a color: one of six lip colors from Makeup Studio (soft pink, rosy, coral, cherry red, berry or mocha) and one of four blushes (soft blush, rosy flush, draped blush or sun-kissed). Glow Cam finds faces on your device, up to four at once, washes the color inside the lip line and adds the blush as a soft glow on the cheeks. If your phone gets too warm or the camera can't keep up, the tint pauses and tells you.
Light and color, never retouching
Glow Cam never smooths or blurs skin, never reshapes a face or a body, never slims and never changes skin tone. Your freckles, pores and marks stay. The tint is a sheer wash of color, like a lip gloss, never a new lip shape. There are no scores and no “better”: the looks are moods, not fixes.
Free and private
Glow Cam is free on every plan and never uses credits. It runs on your device, nothing is uploaded, and your photos stay there until you share them; saved shots go to Photos, with a copy in My Works. Like everything else on Retro Cam, your glow photos carry no AI label and no watermark.

Can I use Glow Cam now?

Is Glow Cam a beauty filter?
Not the kind that changes your face. Glow Cam only adds light, color, sparkle and an optional sheer lip and blush tint. It never smooths skin, reshapes your face or body, or changes your skin tone.

Yes. It's part of Retro Cam, free on every plan, with no credits and no watermark.
Can my friends get the tint too?
Yes. Glow Cam finds up to four faces at once on your device and gives each of them the lip color and blush you picked.
Does it work in the photo booth?
Yes. Switch to Booth and all four shots get your Glow look, sparkle and tint.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Glow Cam runs on your device, and your photos stay there until you choose to share them.
