Quick answer

The best AI photo edit prompts are short, specific and describe one change: “give me pastel pink hair”, “add soft glam makeup”, “put me in a black blazer”, “add cherry blossoms behind me”, “make it golden hour”. Name the change, add one detail (a colour, a material, the light), then build on the result.

The simple formula

A good edit prompt has three parts: the change, one detail and, if you like, a vibe.

Add + [what] + [detail] + [vibe] → “Add fairy lights behind me, warm and cozy”

Start with a verb — give me, add, put me in, make it — and describe what should appear, not what should disappear. To remove things, use Erase with a brush instead.

Hair

  • Give me pastel pink hair
  • Make my hair long and wavy
  • Give me bouncy curls
  • Put my hair in a sleek high ponytail
  • Add a big satin bow in my hair
  • Give me a soft blowout
  • Give me curtain bangs
  • Give me copper-red hair

How to use a prompt in Aybuke

  1. Open Magic Edit

Tap Magic Edit on Explore and pick a photo with Apple's photo picker.

  2. Type or tap

Type a prompt from this list, or tap one of the suggestions. “Ideas for this photo” suggests edits that fit the picture.

  3. Compare and build

Slide before and after, then add the next change with a new prompt — one change at a time works best.

Tips for better results

  • One change at a time. “Give me pink hair” and then “add a satin bow” beats one long prompt.
  • Be specific. “Pastel pink” or “copper-red” works better than “a new colour”.
  • Use real-world words. Satin, denim, tulle, fairy lights, window light.
  • Start with a good photo. A clear face, soft light and a simple background give the AI the most to work with.
  • Doesn't look like you? Tap Retry free — every look is designed to keep your face, skin tone and body as they are.
  • Any of 12 languages works. Type in English, or for example in Turkish: saçımı pembe yap.

Prompts Aybuke won't run

Aybuke's filters are designed to block sexual or revealing requests, humiliating edits (“make her look…”) and anything that would reshape a body or a face, like slimming or changing features. It's a tool for having fun with your look — not for changing your body or embarrassing anyone. Only edit photos of other people with their permission. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
