Milky Way: under a river of stars. Milky Way puts Tanabata's night sky around your portrait: a bright Milky Way, twinkling stars, a few soft shooting stars, a gentle blue-violet glow and tiny star sparkles drifting in the air. The recipe keeps your own outfit and your pose. Your own outfit, your hair and anything you wear on your head stay exactly as they are: a headscarf, a hat or a bow stays, and none is added. So do your face, skin tone and natural skin texture. It's the Pro look for Tanabata, the star festival.

What you get

  • A bright Milky Way across the sky
  • Twinkling stars and a few soft shooting stars
  • A gentle blue-violet glow
  • Tiny star sparkles in the air

FAQ

Milky Way questions

Can I try Milky Way now?

Not yet: Milky Way arrives with the next update of Aybuke. This page describes the look as it works in that version.

Is the Milky Way look free?

Milky Way is a Pro look. It's included with Aybuke Pro (80 AI credits a month, unused credits roll over up to 160); Pro Yearly comes with a 7-day free trial, with 20 credits, if you're eligible. Each look uses 1 credit, and failed edits are refunded.

Will it still look like me?

That's the idea. The Milky Way recipe tells the AI to keep your face, skin tone, body shape and expression as they are, and an on-device likeness check runs on the result. If it doesn't look like you, tap Retry free.

When is Milky Way on Explore?

In Japan, for Tanabata: 1 – 7 July. Explore picks the holidays from your device's region, then your App Store country, then the app's language. Everywhere else, and the rest of the year, it's in Edit › Styles.

Does it change my pose?

No. The recipe keeps your outfit and pose as they are, and changes the sky and the light around you.
